Naslov predavanja: STATE OF THE ART IN THE PRACTICAL IMPLEMENTATION OF ELLIPTIC CURVE CRYPTOGRAPHY

Apstrakt: More than 15 years have passed since elliptic curves were introduced in mainstream public-key cryptography. In the meantime, practical implementation issues were identified, and the current state-of-the-art has advanced. Newer curves with better performance or simpler and more secure implementations were proposed. This presentation will give an overview of ECC principles, research conducted in software/hardware implementation fields in the last decade, as well as illustrate ECC performance compared to other public-key methods on a few characteristic use cases.
