35th Anniversary of Computational Linguistics in Serbia

This conference is dedicated to Professor Duško Vitas,  who initiated and organized the Permanent Seminar in Mathematical and Computational Linguistics at the Mathematical Institute of SASA way back in 1978.

Professor Vitas thus laid the foundations of the computational linguistics school in Serbia, which has been evolving with a varying pace, albeit continuously, for the last 35 years.

A special occasion for this conference is the prestigious award that Professor Vitas received from the Government of the Republic of France for his contribution to the development of scientific cooperation between France and Serbia - Medal of the Order of Academic Palms (Chevalier de l`Ordre des Palmes Académiques).

This 35th Anniversary of Computational Linguistics in Serbia - University of Belgrade, Faculty of Mathematics will assist the internet viewers for creating new weblog or even a blog from start to end.
