Presentation of Cédric Villani’s book (Villani is the winner of Fields Medal in mathematics)

Presentation of the book "Théorème Vivant" by Cedric Villani  was held on 29th April 2013. in the SASA Gallery in the frame of “May, the Month of Mathematics - M3", project.

As one of the most talented mathematicians today, Villani is involved in solving the most difficult problems in the areas of differential equations and mathematical physics. For his results in 2010 he was awarded with the Fields Medal, the greatest honor in mathematics, and this award is being delivered every four years. With the support of the French Institute, Villani is the first Fields medalist to visit Serbia. Prof. Villani’s book was published within the project "May, the Month of Mathematics - M3" held in organization of CPN  and MI of SASA. The book raised a great interest among the French.
