Master program in Astrophysics - ASTROMUNDUS, deadline for application: 30th November 2010.

AstroMundus is a recently established international Master Course in Astronomy and Astrophysics that has been selected by the European Commission as an Erasmus Mundus Masters Course within the second edition of the Erasmus Mundus programme.

The programme has a duration of 2 years (120 ECTS credits), is developed within a consortium of 5 Universities in 4 different countries (Austria, Italy, Germany, and Serbia), and is conducted in the English Language. A wide variety of expertise covered by our international partnership ensures
an excellent educational level in all branches of Astrophysics.

We invite applications from top-ranked students that either hold or are expected to obtain before August 2011 a Bachelor`s Degree (or an equivalent certified period of studies of at least 3 years, corresponding to 180 credits in the European Credit Transfer System) in Physics, Astronomy, Astrophysics, Mathematics or closely related fields. A certified good knowledge of the English language is required.

Applications are now solicited for the Master course starting in September 2011. Deadline is: 30th November, 2010 for both non-EU and EU students.
