Naslov predavanja: ENERGY MINIMIZATION MODELS IN TOMOGRAPHY IMAGE RECONSTRUCTION

Apstrakt: Energy minimization models are often used in many image processing problems. The basic concept of this approach will be presented and discussed. Incorporating a priori information about the solution into the energy minimization model is called regularization. Special focus will be devoted to the development and analysis of possible regularization functions. The parallel beam projection geometry in tomography image reconstruction will be considered and the corresponding energy minimization model will be analysed. Often used regularizations, but also recently proposed ones, for tomography reconstruction will be discussed.
